Terms of Service

1. Who can use Ryvol Fit

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.

Members under 18 have extra protections:

• They can't post to Everyone. Their posts are seen only by their Gym Rats.
• Stricter photo rules apply: no shirtless, swimwear or underwear photos at all.

You can't use Ryvol Fit if we've removed you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information, including your real date of birth.
• One account per person. Your account is yours alone; don't share it or sell it.
• Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your name, username and profile photo must not pretend to be someone else, include profanity, or break the Community Guidelines.

3. Your health and safety

Ryvol Fit is a training tool, not medical advice. Workout plans, suggestions, AI-generated programs, progress numbers and any health information from connected devices are for general fitness information only. They aren't a diagnosis or a substitute for a doctor, physical therapist or qualified coach.

Exercise carries a risk of injury. Talk to a doctor before starting a new program, especially if you're pregnant, injured or have a health condition. Use good form, train within your limits, use a spotter for heavy lifts, and stop if something hurts. You train at your own risk, and that includes workouts you try from other members' posts.

4. The Ryvol community

The Ryvol Army is everyone on Ryvol. Gym Rats are members who have agreed to be friends with each other. The Grind is where members post text, photos, workouts, trophies and graduations, react, comment, tag exercises and equipment, and @mention each other.

Everything you post, comment, upload or send must follow the Community Guidelines, which are part of these terms. You choose who sees each post: your Gym Rats, or Everyone (adults with a public profile only). Anyone who can see a post can react, comment, report it, and, for Everyone posts, share it inside Ryvol. Anyone who can see a workout post can copy its exercises into their own plan with "Try this workout".

5. What's never allowed

These are banned everywhere on Ryvol Fit: in posts, comments, photos, profiles, usernames and messages.

• Nudity and sexual content of any kind, including sexually suggestive photos, poses or captions, and sexual comments about other members.
• Underwear and lingerie photos. Normal gym clothes are fine (see the Community Guidelines).
• Profanity, including curse words, slurs and crude language, even with letters swapped or hidden.
• Any sexual content involving a minor. We remove it, close the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, body-shaming, or encouraging self-harm or eating disorders.
• Hate speech or hate symbols targeting anyone for race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or national origin.
• Graphic violence or gore.
• Selling or promoting illegal drugs, steroids or other banned performance-enhancing substances, or anything illegal.
• Spam, scams, fake giveaways, and advertising or selling without our permission.
• Pretending to be another person, gym or brand.
• Sharing someone else's private information (address, phone number, messages) or photos of people who didn't agree to be posted.
• Posting content you don't have the rights to.

6. Your content

You own what you post. To run Ryvol, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, resize, display and deliver your content to the people you've chosen, and to show it inside Ryvol (for example in shares and tag pages). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already saved as their own plans, copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons, and backups that are erased on their normal schedule.

We don't sell your posts or photos, and we don't use them in ads without asking you first.

You promise that you have the right to post what you post, and that everyone clearly shown in your photos agreed to be posted.

7. How we keep Ryvol safe

• Photo screening. Every photo is checked by automated screening before anyone else can see it. We strip location and camera data from every photo. Photos that break the rules are rejected, and borderline photos stay private until a Ryvol reviewer approves them. Photos are also scanned for known child sexual abuse material.
• Text checks. Posts, comments, names and usernames with profanity are refused.
• Reports. Anyone can report a post, comment, photo or member. When enough members report something, it's hidden until we review it.
• Blocking. Blocking someone hides you and your posts from each other.
• Limits. There are daily limits on posts, comments and uploads to stop spam.

Screening isn't perfect, and we can't check everything before it's posted. You're responsible for what you post. We may review, hide or remove any content, at any time, if we believe it breaks these terms or puts anyone at risk.

8. If you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

• remove the content,
• warn you,
• limit features, like posting or photos,
• suspend your account, or
• close your account permanently, without notice for serious violations such as sexual content involving a minor, threats or illegal activity.

We may also report illegal content to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, email us at rfoster1185@gmail.com and we'll take another look.

9. Ryvol's app and brand

The Ryvol Fit app, name, logo, RF mark, artwork, trophies and exercise content belong to Ryvol Fit. You may use them only through the app as intended. Don't copy, scrape or resell the app or its content, use bots or automated access, try to break or get around security or limits, or interfere with other members' use of Ryvol.

10. Other services

Some features use other companies' services, like Google sign-in and fitness devices you choose to connect. Their own terms apply to those services, and we aren't responsible for them.

11. Leaving Ryvol

You can deactivate your account anytime in Profile, which hides your profile and posts. To delete your account and data, email us. We may suspend or close accounts as described in section 8, or if we stop offering Ryvol Fit.

12. No warranty

Ryvol Fit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that numbers like weights, records and progress will always be exact. We aren't responsible for what other members post or do.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ryvol Fit and the people who run it aren't liable for injuries from training, or for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost data or lost profits from using Ryvol Fit. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

If something you post or do on Ryvol leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms as Ryvol grows. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Ryvol Fit after a change means you accept the new terms.
